It's our 3 year birthday!

Three years ago today Curious Cat Digital was founded!

In that time, we’ve worked with some wonderful clients (some have been with us since the start and still are now – awww, thanks guys, you know who you are) and we’ve seen some amazing changes within the industry. To name a few:

INSTAGRAM’S METEORIC RISE IN POPULARITY

The number of users has boomed from 30 million (April 2012) to 300 million (March 2015). That’s a lot of selfies!

GOOGLE’S PENGUIN UPDATE

Causing a seismic shift in SEO best practice.

The focus on content became much bigger and we all made friends with more copywriters as a result. 

GOOGLE’S PRODUCT LISTING ADS

PLAs replaced the (free) Google Shopping results.

These more recently morphed back into Google Shopping, still on a cost-per-click basis and are now an important channel for many online retailers.

There have been heaps more exciting industry developments and this is one of the reasons we love what we do (and why the last three years has flown by!).
